What has Iraq actually cost us?

And I don't even mean the wasted hundreds of billions and the dead Americans.

No matter what kind of an evil ogre Saddam was, we still attacked a soverign nation that was never going to attack us.
We accept dead civilians as nothing more than a byproduct of a fun war.
We accept torture
We accept holding people prisoner for years without trials and without even charges in some cases.
We accept spying on American citizens for no other reason than the fact that they refuse to worship our Dear Leader.
No folks, we have lost a lot more than a war, we have lost our national dignity.
