NO, I haven't been away

Or asleep the last couple of weeks. It is just that everyday the news is exactly the same as the day before. That is what I told my congressmen in the last letter I sent them. Which I am going to post here.

It seems that the last few weeks I have been living in the movie 'Groundhog Day'. The news is exactly the same every day. 50 civilians are killed in Iraq. All of the president's henchmen are on every radio and TV show crying and wringing their hands, telling us there is no civil war in Iraq. This shows that this administration is only concerned about it's base, the haves and the have mores, and not 'We The people'. They should be crying that this IS a civil war. That would give the president a reason to withdraw all of our troops and save face at the same time. He could just say that the US can not get involved in another nations civil war.
The only reason we are staying is because Halliburton and the other war profiteers thinks there is still a lot of money to be looted from the American taxpayer. It seems that looting is only a crime when done by individuals and not corporations.
