Well, it has been a year now.

A year ago far right extremists were running around flailing their arms and whining and crying that if schools allowed President Obama to speak to the students, it would create a massive Hitler Youth movement in those schools.
So I have a question for those extremists(His name was David Johnson in my county)?
Thousands of schools did allow the president to speak.
Exactly how many of those schools now have a functioning Hitler Youth movement?
And exactly what are the names of those schools?

The oddest of the odd couple.

There are two main groups who make up the TeaParty.
One of them is not the racists. Sure, there is a lot of TeaPartiers who are afraid of losing white privilege, but they are older people living in fear. The racist are a loud ignorant minority, whether in the TeaParty or not.
The two main sects in the TeaParty are the libertarians and the crazed fundis.
The libertarians believe in legalizing drugs, gambling, and prostitution.
The libertarians believe a woman has a right to an abortion.
The libertarians believe that people have a right to marry who they want.
*********On the other hand, you have the crazed fundamentalists.
They want a Bible based government. Not just the Bible, but their own narrow interpretation of the Bible.
You would think that these two groups wouldn't want to be in the same room with each other.


Do you really want to see a TeaParty run country?
Look at Iran.
A country run by crazed nationalists, and wacko fundamentalists.

A second civil war

The wingnut crazies(hate radio,Fox, Sharon Angle, Michele Bachman)are demanding that their lackeys start a second civil war.
I didn't think that the second civil war started until 2268,(Shattered Dreams), but that is another story.
Maybe if those lackeys used a few brain cells and looked at the first civil war, they wouldn't be so anxious to have another one.
The slaves were owned by the plantation owners, the industrialists and the wealthy. The average southerner didn't own slaves. The wealthy convinced the average southerner that it was in their own best interest to fight and die for the wealthy's right to own slaves. In fact not having slavery would have been in the own best interest of a southerner. The business owners would have been forced to hire employees.
Again ordinary Americans are told that if you vote against what is best for them, they will benefit in the long run. There are people who have waited 30 years to get trickled down on. Apparently 30 years isn't long enough.
